Shoes were scuffed by the 2nd week and now (after 6 weeks) need replacing as the top layer has come right off. Beautiful very cute really lovely and well made Daughter very pleased. Love these vans. Not often you can get patterned ones, but I love them. Prefer to plain colours , and hopefully they will not show dirty marks. Will wear with most colours as they have pinky red, blue and green in them. Bought the vans Eastwood trainers, they fit perfect couldn't get over how cheap they were!! Will certainly buy again. best buys , remarkably they seem to be self cleaning (although I wouldn't walk through puddles or mud in them). I'm only sad that in really wet/cold weather the fabric shoes won't be suitable, and I wish I could find them on sale, but to be honest, if you have painful feet, these are so worth it. I would have been so miserable without these shoes, and will continue to buy them. I don't often write product reviews but having spent a I loved the colour palette available and chose the bright and breezy 'Caribbean Blue' (isn't that the title of an Enya album?) Size wise, I'm a size 9/EU 43 it's often difficult to find funky shoes; fit wise, being Italian made they do come up a little small but fitted me - I'd maybe suggest going up half a size if you're on the larger end of your particular shoe size.I've worn them a few times now and they're fairly comfortable, but there appears to be quite a hard patch under the balls of the feet. They also slightly 'squeak' whilst ambling along, which is a little disturbing, so I'll make a mental note not to wear them to take tea with the local vicar....*Update* - after not a great deal of wear (in my humble opinion) the lining on the back of heel has broken and thus exposing the rubber beneath.
